Every cleaning company faces days when absences, walk offs and no shows require us to have a large degree of flexibility. We often turn individuals into teams and teams of 2 into teams of 3 and vice versa. This is a very easy and great fix as long as your cleaners understand the difference in their responsibilities in the 3 different scenarios. Print copies of this and distribute it to all of your cleaners and review it in a meeting. Then print it out again and hand it to the team the day that they need to alter their usual routine. It specifies who does what and what their basic cleaning responsibilities are if it is a 2 or 3 person team.
